Style Sunday: Mermaid Maxi
It’s quite apparent, with my flame red hair that Ariel – the little mermaid – is one of my style crushes right now. I’m completely fine with that. It does, however, mean that I’m instantly attracted to long flowing gowns in ocean shades of aqua, blue and turquoise. If I were to dream up the prefect mermaid maxi dress I think that it would look something like this – in fact – Monsoon seem to have done the hard work for me with this stunning Miranda Dip Dye Dress, £229.
Unfortunately, there seems to be little remaining social event on the calendar that would justify such a spend – why isn’t there a late summer wedding to attend just when you’ve found the prefect frock? Well, that needn’t be the end of the mermaid dress dreams. Here’s a design that can create this look at home and at a fraction of the cost!
